Agri-Expo is a professional promotion and marketing organization for the agricultural sector in the Western Cape, focusing on exhibitions and other Public Relations initiatives, in the interest of its members, agricultural role players, the government, the media and the public.
The Cape of Good Hope Agricultural Society was established in 1831 and presented agricultural shows in Rosebank and Goodwood. Since 1996, the society's shows, training, expos and sponsorships carry the Agri-Expo logo.

After twelve successful years the SA Cheese Festival has firmly lodged itself in the hearts of thousands of cheese lovers. The ideal picnic weather, some 400 cheeses to choose from and the who’s who of the food world sharing their culinary secrets, contributed to an unparalleled autumn outing for 27 500 visitors over the weekend of 26 – 28 April. The extended Friday night opening hours made up for the fact that the festival had to take place over three days.
Cheese lovers can look forward to the 2014 SA Cheese Festival that will again be a four day event (25 – 28 April).

CAPE DAIRY EXPERIENCE – SA'S BIGGEST
The Cape Dairy Experience (CDE) developed from the need to host a pure dairy show in South Africa. After talks with various Breed Societies and other stakeholders, the first Cape Dairy Experience was held during November 2011.
The feedback from the industry and the public was overwhelmingly positive, and although it is not always easy to market a concept, several organizations offered their unconditional support and also made financial contributions to the CDE.
Another successful CDE was held in 2012 and included highlights such as the first Dairy Entrepreneurs Course for learners as well as the Holstein Breed Society's 100th anniversary celebrations.
The CDE brought a new dynamic to dairy shows in South Africa and the presentation was of an international standard. Various stakeholders have compared the experience to the best in the world.
Depending on the partnerships that can be confirmed by the end of June 2013, a decision on the 2014 event will be made, after which this project will be held every second year to address the need within the industry.
